Richard Mustchin has been making baskets for thirty years.
In 2000 he travelled to Cocos Keeling Islands to learn to weave with coconut fronds, then continued that interest when he came to live in North Queensland.
Workshop participants will learn the basics of traditional basket making as well as weaving with coconut palm leaves.
