Brilliant chef and special events company owner, Cameron Walton and artist/teacher, Jill Booth have teamed up to bring you a day of experimental, creative learning. The idea is that you will respond to arrangements of delicious tropical fruits and vegetables by creating a series of quick still life sketches, paintings and collages as you explore principles of shape, form, composition and colour. Both beginners and more experienced artists are very welcome. Then Cam will extend your sensual experience of this cornucopia of tropical delights by teaching you how to cook some of the display - I am sure that you won't need any help in eating it! Sketches and photographs of your classmates enjoying the fruits of their labours could then be worked up into finished drawings and paintings.
