After breakfast.
STEWART CREEK ROAD BIRD WALK.
The secret of this short walk is that it traverses many different habitats in just one kilometer. Start in the village and go as far as the bridge over Stewart Creek and return. Watch out for traffic.

Now it is off to the pontoon near the ferry where most of the Daintree River tours depart from.  This is another 2 hour river trip seeing some of the mangrove bird species. Daintree River Wildwatch phone 0740987068 or 0447734933 with Ian "Sauce" Worster Mobile website >
CASSOWARY.
This has been quite an adventure so far and to cap it off is a trip over the river to the Jindalba Visitors Centre and walk.
Simply catch the ferry and drive to Tulip Oak Road, Cow Bay. This turn-off is at the corner where the Daintree Discovery Centre is. Turn right and drive the short distance to Jindalba. Cassowaries are often seen near the car park. Enjoy the walks and keep a look out for Cassowaries.
With the early start you can now say that your birdwatching day is done and you have finished off in the Daintree National Park.

Where to now?
Lunch? Where? Daintree? Cape Trib? Karnak? High Falls? Mossman? Port Douglas? Your choice.

I hope that you have enjoyed the Birding Trail.
